On Wednesday we were kindly hosted by the Wellcome Trust to run a WonkComms event on think tank impact. With a *stella(r)* (geddit?) line up including MP Stella Creasy, the IFS’s Jonathan Wood, WonkComms original Nick Scott and the IFG’s Dr Hannah White, we explored how think tanks can cut through the noise and achieve lasting change. The event was chaired by Mark Henderson, Head of Communications at the Welccome Trust.
Unfortunately our live stream laptop went impact-shy and decided to opt out, meaning we sadly don’t have a video of the event. But a room full of think tanks comms people, several fruit-based devices and a penchant for 140-character reportage makes capturing every last word from a wonkcomms pretty easy. So check out our storify below.
